It is found at an elevation of 13000ft. above sea level. This place is far quite a trekking place because it's related with spirituality also. Best time to go to Chandrashila
You can visit Chandrashila throughout the year, but the simplest time to go here is from April to June. From April to June (Summer) there's a festival held and enormous number of devotees and trekker go there. So this is often a perfect time to go to Chandrashila. In winters, you'll visit here also if you keen on snow, but sometimes thanks to heavy rainfall or snowfall road resulting in Chandrashila is closed.

Full Itinerary :
Day 1 : Haridwar to Sari Village
● Total distance is 215 kilometers.
● Drive of just about 8 hours.
● Altitude : 6600 feet.
We will start early after taking the breakfast. From Haridwar to Sari village, it's an 8 hour long drive. The bottom camp is found within the Rudraprayag district. To form this journey to not boring, you'll take headphones and other music items. Here we'll stay in campsites, homestays, and in guest houses. Sari Village may be a beautiful place to remain where we will do photography and luxuriate in the camping at the campsite. At an altitude of 6600 ft. the view of the town is basically alluring.
Day 2 : Chopta to Chandrashila

● Chopta to Chandrashila total distance is 6 kilometers.
Chopta is additionally referred to as 'Mini Switzerland'. Consistent with travellers, Chopta is one among the simplest places to go to in Uttarkhand. Chopta is surrounded by dense green forests, and a view of mighty Himalayan ranges. Subsequent destination is Tungnath which is 3 - 4 kilometers far away from Chopta. Day 3 : Chopta to Haridwar
So this the Judgment Day of your journey which starts from morning after breakfast. On today, you'll drive from Chopta to Haridwar which can take 8 hours and is about 190 kilometers far. After reaching at Haridwar, your journey of amazing trek will end with the unforgettable memories of trekking in your head.

All of the camps will provide you with high-quality tents and sleeping bags for your trek. We have high-altitude sleeping bags that can withstand temperatures as low as -10°C. Ropes, microspikes, and gaiters are all available.
